Zenith Graphics in the picture: an inspiring visit for minister Eléonore Simonet

On May 13, federal minister for the Self-Employed and SMEs Eléonore Simonet paid an official visit to the production building of Zenith Graphics, in Groot-Bijgaarden. This passage was also her very first working visit to a Belgian SME headquartered in Flanders.

A strong signal for our sector

For us, this visit was more than a symbolic gesture. It confirmed confidence in our growth story, our investments in technology and people, and the crucial role industrial SMEs play in Belgium’s economic future.

As a graphic production company with deep industrial roots, we are proud of our journey. What began in 1959 as a family business has, over the past decade, evolved into an advanced SME with more than 130 employees, a fourfold increase in revenue to €25 million, and a modern production site fully centralized in Groot-Bijgaarden since 2023.

Minister Simonet’s visit was no coincidence. Our expertise, which includes Automotive Graphics, building signage, industrial signaling, and official Belgian license plates, positions us today as a pillar of the Flemish manufacturing industry. During her visit, the Minister expressed appreciation for our innovative spirit, technical expertise, and contribution to job creation.

Driving growth in challenging times

As minister Simonet herself put it: “Zenith Graphics perfectly illustrates the strength and potential of our SMEs.” In an economic climate where wage costs, administrative burden, and energy prices challenge business competitiveness, we continue to prove that it is indeed possible to produce in Belgium and compete at the European level. As long as entrepreneurship and innovation are given the space to thrive.

At the same time, Voka Vlaams-Brabant recently published alarming figures about the declining industrial investment climate. This only reinforces the importance of constructive collaboration between policymakers and businesses. We are therefore grateful that minister Simonet took the time to listen to our story.

Stronger together, while looking forward

At Zenith Graphics, we strongly believe in partnerships, with our clients, our employees, and our stakeholders. Minister Simonet’s visit confirmed that the manufacturing industry has a voice, and that our efforts to invest in sustainable growth, employment, and innovation are being recognized.

We remain committed to making a difference as a company: with high-quality visual solutions, sustainable production practices, and a clear ambition to help elevate our sector on the national stage.
