A bit like home

Zenith Graphics came up with a unique and heartwarming solution: personalised doors. We visited some residents’ homes to photograph their front doors and captured every detail. Using large-format printing technology, we turned these photos into lifelike door prints that perfectly matched the originals. Our installation team then carefully stickered these prints on the residents’ room doors, giving their new surroundings a familiar touch.

Transforming impersonal spaces

Sterile, hospital-like corridors were transformed into warm, friendly spaces that felt like a residential neighbourhood. This not only made residents feel more comfortable and connected, but also increased their sense of privacy and security.

For residents with dementia, these personalised doors served as visual cues that stimulate memory. This helps with memory retrieval and helps them navigate their surroundings more easily.

Future vision

At Zenith Graphics, we are committed to using our expertise in design and print very creatively to make a positive impact on people’s lives. This project is a testament to the power of personalisation & design.  A beautiful impact for a relatively limited budget.

Applicability

The concept was first implemented at the Rest and Care Home “Le Clairval” in the province of Namur.   We are proud of the difference we have made for the residents.  Zenith Graphics is ready to roll out this concept further across Belgium.
